This policy explains what happens to your information when you use this website. It is short because the site does very little with your data: there is one contact form, and nothing else here collects anything about you.
Only what you type into the contact form:
Nothing else. There are no accounts, no newsletter sign-up, and no forms other than that one. If you do not contact me, I do not collect anything about you at all.
The form includes one hidden field that real visitors never see or fill in. It exists to catch automated spam, and anything submitted through it is discarded rather than read.
To read your enquiry and reply to it. That is the only purpose. I do not use your details for marketing, I do not add you to any mailing list, and I do not sell, rent or share them with anyone for their own purposes.
When you submit the form, your message is sent to me by email through Resend, a transactional email provider that handles delivery on my behalf. Your name, email address and message pass through their systems in order to reach my inbox, and are subject to their own privacy practices as well as this policy.
Your enquiry then lives in an ordinary email inbox. It is not written to a database, a CRM, or any other store.
Enquiries stay in my inbox until they are no longer needed, and are deleted when I no longer have a reason to keep them. If you would like your message deleted sooner, ask and I will remove it.
Stated plainly, because most privacy policies describe things this site has never had:
Fonts and images are served from my own infrastructure rather than from a third-party network, so simply reading a page does not report your visit to anyone else.
This site sets no cookies.
If you switch the site between light and dark mode, that choice is remembered in your browser’s local storage, under a single entry named theme holding the word light or dark. That is a browser setting, not a cookie: it is never sent to my server, it identifies nothing about you, and clearing your browser data removes it.
Like any website, the servers that deliver these pages may keep routine technical records of requests — such as an IP address, the page requested, and the time. These are ordinary operational records used to keep the site running and secure. They are not combined with contact form submissions and are not used to identify or track individual visitors.
You can ask me to tell you what information I hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Since the only information I am likely to hold is an email you sent me, this is usually as simple as asking me to delete the message.
Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local data protection law. If you want to exercise any of them, get in touch and I will help.
Use the contact page, or reply to any email you have had from me.
If what I do with your information changes, this page changes with it.
